Hellegatsplein

On the artificial island in the Hellegat, where the Haringvliet, Hollandsch Diep, and Volkerak waterways meet, there are four wind turbines with a capacity of 12 MW. We developed a charging station for eight mobile containers, each with a capacity of 375 kW, for our partner Greener. Greener rents mobile battery containers to festivals, construction sites, and other locations, but for when these batteries are not rented out, they were looking for a location where they could contribute to the balance of the Dutch electricity grid.

The installation consists of eight ten-foot shipping containers with a maximum power of 3,5 MW and a storage capacity of 5 MWh.
